The number of people who have been arrested in Þýrnak in the past two days rose to to 47. Today 16 people out of the 22 taken into custody yesterday have been sent to prison, while 6 have been released.
All of the detained people are accused to be involved one way or another with the KCK (Kurdish Communities Confederation) currently the object of a huge and empty investigation. The "only" result of the investigation has been to literally remove from the active political scene hundreds of Kurdish politicians and activists.
