The operation to liberate Raqqa is nearing the end. According to latest reports coming through, violent clashes are ongoing between Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters and ISIS gangs around Weteni Hospital, the Stadium and Naim Crossing. During the confrontations here, 14 ISIS members were killed and 2 SDF fighters were martyred.

SDF fighters have launched an operation and are advancing in al-Iskan neighbourhood.

On the other hand SDF special units continue to rescue the local people in city center. 49 more civilians have been freed from ISIS gangs.

Spokespersons for the Operation Wrath of Euphrates to liberate Raqqa, Cihan Sheikh Ehmed and Talal Silo, spoke at the Raqqa Platform meeting in Ayn Îsa town yesterday and said they would announce victory in Raqqa very soon.
