Violent clashes between demonstrators and Turkish security forces are continuing to take place in Karlıova district of Bingöl where people have taken control of the neighborhoods at noon today.

According to the information received from local people, clashes have erupted and are continuing since early morning as police and troops are brutally attacking the people with real bullets as well as intense tear gas and pressurized water.

The district centre is currently controlled by security forces while local people have gained the control of all other neighborhoods.
