In Amed after the searches police took into custody Ayşe Güney, spokesperson of the Mesopotamian Women Journalists Platform and Jinnews editor, Ayşe Gökkan, spokesperson of the Free Women's Movement (TJA), MED TUHAD-FED co-chair Elif Haran, TUAY-DER member Rabia Ataş, Bağlar Municipality Council member Panayır Çelik, HDP Yenişehir former province co-chair Demet Özkaran, Zekiye Güler, Figen Ekti, Rabia Ateş, Ronda Bat, Rozerin Çatak, Emine Kaya, Dilan Yakut, and someone named Güneş whose surname could not be learned.
Most of the detained are women. TUAY-DER executive Bahar Akyapı and HDP Sur co-chair Hatun Yıldız were not detained because they were not at home.
The women detained were taken to the Provincial Security Directorate.
33 raids in Antep
During the police raids in Antep this morning, a total of 33 people were detained, including HDP Antep Provincial co-chair Musa Aydın, central Şahinbey and Şehitkamil provincial chairs, DBP Antep Provincial co-chair Mehmet Vural, 2 neighbourhood chairs and 1 lawyer.
In the raids, the doors of the houses were broken in with a ram. The detainees were taken to the Provincial Security Directorate.
