9 people, 8 of them children, lost their lives in a fire that broke out in the house where a Syrian family was staying in a four-storey building in Bursa.

It was stated that the fire started from the stove on the second floor of the building in Değirmenönü District.

According to the authorities, a Syrian woman named Amina and her 6 children aged between 1 and 11 as well as 2 nephews lost their lives in the fire.

It was stated that 4 more people, including one child, survived but were affected by smoke.
