128 people were taken into custody on 25 April. A further 15 people were detained later, bringing the total to 143. A 24-hour lawyer restriction ban has also been imposed on all detainees. By Friday night, 39 people had been remanded in custody.
Halise Aksoy sent to prison
Halise Aksoy, mother of Agit Aksoy, whose remains were sent to her by post, was among those remanded in custody on Friday. Her daughter Mizgin Karataş was also sent to prison, as were Fikri Ay, Hilal Ada, Mehmet Yalçın, Mehmet Andok Bayram, Agit Kaysı, Alattin Zuğurli, Faris Türk, Evin Doster and Nurettin Bakan. They are all charged with "being a member of a terrorist organization".
13 people released under judicial control
Nasır Yılmaz, Hatip Güney, Mehmet Emin Shingar, Osman Çelik, Suzan Aksu, Hebat Mimkara, Halil Delen, Mustafa Çukur, Engin Karakoç, Eşref Yaşa, Hivda Gönenç, Ahmet Alnak and Mustafa Pektaş were released under judicial control.
