Labor, Democracy and Freedom Block's Diyarbakýr MP Hatip Dicle, who was excluded by the Election Board because of a previous conviction, sent a message from the prison through lawyers. "The immediate decision made by the Election Board - said Dicle in his message - is a violation of the nation's right. The next task belongs to the Parliament."
In a press conference Hatip Dicle's lawyers remarked that Dicle trusts the superiority of law. Conveying Dicle's message regarding the developments, lawyer Coþacak said the followings: "Dicle considers the Election Board decision as a violation of nation's right as well as a violation of his legal right. He said he believes that the Parliament will be able to solve the problem."
