Despite having delivered the required documents to the High Election Board of Turkey, ODP (Freedom and Solidarity Party) was again turned down by the board on the grounds that “appeal period is over”.

Concerning YSK's objection, ODP General President Alper Tas said the followings; “This implementation is the seizure of the rights of a party. YSK, instead of promoting the circumstances of a party that has been entitled to participate in the elections, has grabbed this right with an inaccurate justification. They could have reversed the decision on us as they did for the independent candidates but they chose to take an unfair decision. The course of proceeding has worked different for the independent candidates and our party. The reversal of the anti-democratic decision against the independent is positive and pleases us as well but the inequality of the course of the same proceeding has revealed that this decision is not fair or legal”.
