Many homes, including those of Association of Libertarian Lawyers (ÖHD) lawyers were raided by Istanbul police in the early hours as part of the political genocide operations.

While the police operation targeted 32 addresses in 16 districts, anti-terror police have detained dozens of people, including 9 lawyers from Association of Libertarian Lawyers (ÖHD). There is reported to be a search warrant for 12 other lawyers.

Among the lawyers targeted in the operation is Hüseyin Boğatekin, who was targeted by the Palace media after the explosion in Kızılay, Ankara.

Other lawyers whose residences were searched are: Ramazan Demir, İrfan Arasan, Adem Çalışçı, Ayşe Acinikli, Ayşe Başar, Şefik Çelik and Tamer Doğan.
