The 4th and last session of the 8th Hearing of Free Press journalists at the Istanbul no. 15 Serious Criminal Court ended on Friday.

Making an interim judgment today, the court released DIHA (Dicle News Agency) reporter Nilgün Yıldız and ruled continuation of detention for other jailed journalists for "criminal suspicion" and "suspicion of escaping".

The court also ordered criminal complaint against ANF reporter Zeynep Kuray and journalist Sultan Güneş on the grounds that they went beyond limits of defense.

The trial was adjourned until 13-17 January.
