Following the death of 8 year-old Baran in Patnos district of Agrý due to military materials, a 12 year-old child in Mus city got wounded today an object he found in military area exploded in his face.

Abdulkadir Akarsu found a yet undetermined object at the shooting gallery of 49th Motorized Infantry Brigade Deputy Commandership and brought it to his house. When the object exploded in his face after a little while, Akarsu was taken to Mus state hospital and sent to Elazýg Fýrat University Faculty of Medicine. The 12 year-old boy is reported to have lost his left eye and fingers.

The military materials left in areas near military barracks in Kurdish provinces caused a child’s death and wound in the last one week. 8 year-old Baran Ozyolcu lost his life last week while playing with an object he found near a brigade in Patnos/Agrý.
