A police officer was killed and three others were injured in an attack in the southern Turkish province of Hatay.

The police officer was killed as a result of an attack to a police station.

Hatay Governor Celalettin Lekesiz told state-run Anatolia news agency that allegedly PKK members attacked the police station in Ýskenderun-Adana Highway, killing the police officer and injured three others. One of the wounded police officer is believed to be a in critical condition.
