One soldier died as a result of a mine explosion close by the Albayrak 4th Battalion Command Alev Infantry Boundary Company in Baþkale district of Van.

While a soldier died as a result of the explosion of a mine that had been laid earlier, many helicopters were reportedly sent to the scene soon after the explosion. A military operation has been launched in the region with the participation of a large number of soldiers.
