Operation against ISIS by Iraq and the Coalition

The Iraqi army and the International Coalition carried out an operation against ISIS in and around Kirkuk with air strikes. 4 ISIS members were killed in the operation.

After the Turkish state launched invasion attacks against Afrin, ISIS sprung back into action in Kirkuk, Selahaddin, Mosul, Diyala, Anbar and other areas in Iraq. Following the US’ decision to withdraw from Northern Syria, ISIS has increased activity in these areas with more attacks.

The Iraqi army and the International Coalition carried out operations at intervals against Maxmur Qerecox mountain, Kirkuk, Mosul, Diyala, Tiqrit, Anbar and other areas where ISIS has reactivated.

OPERATION AGAINST ISIS MEMBERS IN HIDING: 4 DEAD

Late last night, International Coalition jets carried out an air strike against areas in and around Kirkuk where ISIS had holed up in.

Iraqi security sources said International Coalition jets bombed areas where ISIS members were hiding in southern and western areas of Kirkuk.

4 ISIS members were reported dead in the bombing.

Iraqi security forces have been increasing their operations against Kirkuk, Diyala, Selahaddin, Anbar and Ninova together with the International Coalition forces led by the US.
