The Operation Cizire Storm launched on September 9 to liberate Deir ez-Zor territory from ISIS continues at full force.

Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue to advance against ISIS gangs on two fronts. The first flank advanced four kilometres towards Siwar town and killed 10 ISIS members. The fighters also seized ammunition and a motorcycle from ISIS.

SDF forces on the other flank killed 24 ISIS members and destroyed an ISIS vehicle during clashes north of Diban village near Mayadeen. Five SDF fighters fell during the clashes.
