The YPG (People's Defense Units) General Command released a statement to announce that between 13 and 14 August at least 82 militants belonging to al-Qaeda-linked groups have died following clashes with the Kurdish guerrillas of the YPG.

Heavy clashes had been going on in the areas around Tirbespiyê and Kobani. The General Command confirmed that two of his guerrillas have lost their life.
