Özgür Gündem Publication Advisory Board member and columnist Aslı Erdoğan who was detained in a house raid after the newspaper was closed has been hospitalized after a health condition came up while she was in custody. According to the information her lawyers gathered from the Prosecutor’s office, Erdoğan was returned to custody after her treatment.

Erdoğan has recovered but hasn’t been allowed a meeting with her lawyers yet.
