The Parliament speaker Cemil Çiçek has received BDP parliamentary group Selahattin Demirtaþ and Siirt MP Gültan Kýþanak to talk about the ongoing political crisis. Also at the meeting is the vice prime minister Beþir Atalay. The BDP delegation is made up of Selahattin Demirtaþ, Pervin Buldan, Hasip Kaplan, Siirt MP Gültan Kýþanak.
The AKP delegation is made up of deputy Prime Minister Beþir Atalay, AKP parliamentary group president Nurettin Canikli, plus Ahmet Aydýn and
Haluk Ýpek.
The CHP (Republican's People Party) finally decided to take the parliamentary oath earlier this week, after having agreed a vague document with the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party).
The BDP has reiterated that the doors are open for dialogue and every effort will be made to solve crisis but the onus on solving the crisis through meaningful and concrete steps is on the government.
So far the AKP government has done nothing to show it is willing to solve the crisis.
The BDP is boycotting parliamentary proceedings in protest of the imprisonment of six of its deputies.
