People of Hakkari prepare to send 3 Green Left Party deputies to Parliament

Support for the Green Left Party is increasing in Hakkari, while the AKP can only count on its members.

Support for the Green Left Party is visible in Hakkari (Colemêrg) where people are working to send 3 deputies to Parliament. The Green Left Party’s office openings, public and tradesmen visits are held with the participation of thousands of people.

Thousands of people attended, especially in Hakkari center, where Green Left Party deputies were introduced.

The visits by party candidates in Çukurca (Çelê), Şemdinli (Şemzînan) and Yuksekova (Gever) were welcomed by thousands of people at the city entrances.

On the other hand, only AKP executives attended the election office opened by AKP in Hakkari center.

Aliye Keskin, a resident of Hakkari, said that they will be successful in this election and added: “We want peace, we want our rights. May God open our way. Hopefully this time we will protect our votes and prevent them from being stolen. In this election, we will send three deputies to Ankara. Our language is Kurdish. We are Kurds.”

We don't vote for Erdoğan

Süheyle Aşkan said: "Our people should be united now," and added that "there has been such a situation that people cannot look after their homes due to the economic crisis. Erdoğan is responsible for this. We do not vote for Erdoğan. Erdoğan is the cause of many of our problems. Our children have been in prison for years. We will never let the AKP win."

Everyone should put their hand on their conscience

Heci Hüseyin Guyi said: "We will send three of our deputies to Parliament very comfortably this time." He added: "If the Kurdish people knew how important unity is, they could achieve anything. I am sure that in this election the Kurdish people will show their unity. For our party, there is no problem in Hakkari. Our elected representatives will defend and express our rights and our law in Parliament. They know the problems of our people. This government fought hard to bring the people of Hakkari to its knees, but failed. The government closed the border gates to starve the people. I'm calling out to everyone: put your hand on your conscience and vote for the Green Left Party.”
