Lebanon Newroz Culture Association has also joined the petition launched by Kongra Star demanding an end to Turkey's aggravated isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The signature campaign has attracted great interest among the Lebanon organisations and institutions, from which many people gave their signatures demanding physical freedom for the Kurdish leader, Abdullah Öcalan who is held in isolation by the Turkish state since 1999.

Newroz Culture Association Head Henan Osman said the petition is welcomed with great interest because Öcalan gave a long-term struggle for the Lebanon people.

Osman added that they will be visiting all the institutions and organisations in Lebanon within the scope of the campaign.
