The 42th anniversary of the foundation of the PKK was celebrated in Graz city of Austria.

Starting with a minute's silence, the ceremony saw representatives of KPÖ, SPÖ and Grüne conveying their messages of solidarity.

Civaka Azad co-chair Halis Sever said that the revolution led by Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan in the Middle East is the hope of all oppressed peoples.

He added that the Kurdish people will never accept the occupation of Kurdistan and that there is no choice but to resist and side with the peoples.

The evening ended with performances by Xanemir, Hozan Farqin Azad, Dilo Doğan and Grup Devran.
