The people in Ankara started a Democracy Vigil in front of the YSK Ankara Provincial and Central District Election Board. The police on Monday night attacked the vigil, taking 10 people into custody.
Call to attend the vigil
Speaking at the vigil, Ilay Eroğlu underlined that the signed minutes and the number of votes shared by the YSK did not match, and added: "It is clear that the YSK is trying to usurp the will of the people. We have started a Democracy Vigil and we invite all the people of Ankara to join us. Likewise, we invite all citizens to start vigils in front of the YSK buildings in their own cities. We will protect our votes and our will, and we will not be a victim of the same unlawfulness once again."

Riot police attacked the crowd in front of the YSK building, saying that the Democracy Vigil was unlawful and unconstitutional and took 10 people into custody.
