The police shot Adem Kara (21) with a gun and justified the killing and said that he "did not obey the stop warning".
The young man was killed at the animal market established in Işıklar District in Midyat, in the province of Mardin. Kara, who was seriously injured, lost his life in Mardin Training and Research Hospital, where he was taken.
Kara's body was then taken to the morgue, and the authorities said that he would be handed over to his family after autopsy measures. Kara's funeral will be held at Kalo Cemetery in Midyat.
Relatives stated that, contrary to the allegations, there was no arrest warrant against Adem Kara. Indeed, he may have escape because, having just been released from prison, he got scared. The family said they will not give up the search for truth and justice.
