In the main Kurdish city Amed where civil uprising in solidarity with the Kobanê resistance is continuing for 4 days, the neighborhood of Fiskaya has been encircled by police forces with dozens of armored vehicles early Friday.

Hundreds of officers and anti-riot police are raiding a number of houses in the neighborhood which has been witnessing mass protests condemning the ruling AKP government's stance in face of the ongoing attacks on the Kobanê town of West Kurdistan, Rojava, by inhumane ISIS gangs.

Police are also denying press members in the area to cover the operation which is reported to be going on.
