Police take 13 people into custody in Van
A large number of houses were raided in the Ipekyolu district of Van, and 13 people were detained.
Turkish police raided many houses in Ipekyolu district in the morning. During the raids, members of the Peace Mothers Council Türkan Işık, Gıyasettin Çevirel, Metin Duman, Gülcan Adar, Dilber Işık, İsmail Kaval, Hekim Cindioğlu, Muhsin Duman, Abdurrahman Dik, Gürgin Kara, Nafia Öztunç, Hazal Öztunç and Salih Kırat were detained.
The reason for the detention was not disclosed.
