In the German city of Kassel, Rojava Committee and Protestant Church organised a prayer night for Rojava.

The solidarity event at Bruder Kirsche was organised under the motto “Together against war”.

Many people from Kurdistan and their friends attended the event which began with Kurdish children’s choir singing the song “Axa Rojava”.

The event continued with the performance of the church’s music band, followed by presentations on the democratic autonomy model in Rojava and the genocidal attacks carried out against the region by the Turkish state and allied mercenary groups.

Attendees discussed the importance attached to women in Rojava and what could be done against the arms factories in Kassel.

The event was concluded with prayers.
