Protest in Ottawa against arms exports to Turkey

In Ottawa, Kurds protested against the approval of arms deliveries from Canada to Turkey.

In front of the Canadian parliament in Ottawa, a protest demonstration was held against the approval of arms exports to Turkey. At the rally organised by the Kurdish Federation, reference was made to the attacks and war crimes committed by the Turkish state in violation of international law. The Canadian Government was urged not to make itself Turkey's partner in these crimes. An information dossier was submitted to the Members of Parliament.

The rally also called for a boycott of tourism in Turkey.
