People in Varto district of Muş have poured out into the streets after a demonstrator, Hakan Buksur, was shot dead by police during a mass demonstration today in solidarity with the Kobanê resistance against ISIS gangs.

Clashes erupted and spread across the district where almost all streets turned to a battlefield after the murder by police of 25-year-old demonstrator late today.

Fours schools, Culture and Performance Centre, PTT (post office) and private teaching institution FEM have been set on fire by demonstrators as clashes are continuing to spread to larger areas and barricades being built up on all streets.

Large numbers of police forces have been dispatched to the district from the surrounding cities.
