PUK former commander said to fight against PJAK

While the operation of the Iranian army at border line has entered the fourth day, sought PUK (Patriotic Union of Kurdistan) former Commander Ebdullah Uso is claimed to be assisting the Iranian army during the operations.

According to the assertion of Chatirpress web-site, PUK former Commander Ebdullah Uso has passed to Kibo uplands with the peshmergas under his command to act in cooperation with the Iranian army against PJAK (Party of Free Life of Kurdistan).

The site remarks that Uso, who is sought for killing a person and wounding six people during an internal conflict in Qeladize, parted from the PUK when the Qeladize court issued an arrest warrant for him.

Local resources also say that Uso and the peshmergas under his command are having talks with the Iranian intelligence service and an agreement has been reached among the sides about giving support against PJAK.

While some sources note that Uso is formally sought as a fugitive, some others point out that PUK executives still pay visits to Uso. (B.O.)
