PYD-Europe calls on people of Rojava living in Europe to protest Turkey's attacks

PYD-Europe called on the people of Rojava living in Europe to protest until the attacks of the Turkish state stop. “Today is the day of national stance, it is time to defend the gains of the Kurdish nation!” said the party.

Partiya Yekîtiya Democratic-Europe (Democratic Union Party, PYD) issued a written statement titled “A call to our people in Europe for Rojava”.

The call said that “the invading Turkish state's attacks on Bashur Kurdistan and Rojava aimed at destroying Kurdish gains.

The statement added: “The Turkish state launched a major attack on Bashur Kurdistan and is attacking different parts of Rojava every day. These attacks by the Turkish state are aimed not only at the guerrillas of Kurdistan, but also at the gains of all Kurds.”

The call said that Kurdish institutions, organizations and their friends are planning a series of actions across Europe to protest the occupation. It added that the attacks will begin on 23 April.

“As Partiya Yekîtiya Demokratîk in Europe, we want all our people to take a stance against the occupation. We call on you to show your support by taking action. We call on our people to take strong steps against the occupation. Today is the day of national stance, it is time to defend the gains of the Kurdish nation!
