Racist attacks against the Green Left Party offices in two cities
The Green Left Party, under the banner of which the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) is contesting for the May 14 elections, are faced with racist attacks.
The Green Left Party (YSP) offices in Ankara and İzmir provinces have been targeted by racist attacks.
The attack in Ankara targeted the YSP election office in the Mamak district. The YSP officials stated that the flags of the party were torn down and the Turkish flag was hung in front of the office.
The attack on the YPS election office in the Menemen district of İzmir was carried out by two assailants who shared images of their action on the social media.
The party officials stated that they couldn’t file a complaint against the assailants as they were under age.
