In a statement reacting to the raids on BDP building and houses, BDP central district chair Üzeyir Kýlýn underlined that; “Neither our party nor our colleagues has any connection with the event which is intended to lead to provocations against our party and its workers. No one should doubt that we are not in favour of any deaths, especially death of a Þýrnak citizen. We strongly condemn the raids targeting our party building and workers.”

On the other hand, BDP Silopi district executive Mehmet Mirmehmet was taken into custody during the road control by plainclothes policeman near the districts of Silopi and Cizre.
