Hundreds of people joined the march promoted to demand the end of isolation against Öcalan and to support the hunger strike resistance in prisons and dozens of cities throughout Europe. The activists marched to Hauptwache Götheplatz chanting slogans in solidarity with the hunger strikers.

A rally was held in Götheplatz. Here speakers underlined the serious health problems suffered by the hunger strikers. It was emphasized that the Council of Europe and the CPT should fulfill their responsibilities as soon as possible.
