Fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue making advances in the Tabqa region after their liberation of the Tabqa Military Airport from ISIS the day before.

On the eight day of the operation on Tabqa, SDF have taken control of the Raqqa-Tabqa road.

According to reports from the ground, SDF fighters took the road under their control after advancing from the front south of the Euphrates last night. Clashes in this area continued until 07:00 Wednesday morning.
