The Executive Council of Rojava Cantons General Coordination has released a written statement calling for strong participation in the election to be held in Turkey and North Kurdistan on November 1.

The statement pointed out that; “The first years of the 21st century have witnessed many changes all around the world. While these changes have evolved into a point of undeniability by the states, it has been proved clearly that dictators can make no changes on the basis of their own interests during the current period when the political crisis between the states in the Middle East are heading towards a deadlock.”

Remarking that the AKP ruling doesn't have the strength to stop the will of the peoples, the statement stressed that the AKP avenged itself on the defeat of June 7 election by increasing the support it has provided to gang groups in Rojava and Syria thus far.

The General Coordination of Rojava Cantons called upon the peoples of North Kurdistan and Turkey to ensure strong participation in November 1 election and vote for HDP, saying that; “HDP's success is the success of peace and reality”.
