SDF fighters launched an operation against ISIS gangs in Diban village, 50 km southeast of Deir ez-Zor on Saturday. SDF fighters liberated the village after clashes during which four ISIS members were killed and a bomb-laden vehicle of theirs was destroyed.

Syrian Democratic Forces started Operation Cizire Storm against ISIS gangs in Deir ez-Zor governate on September 9. After more than two months SDF liberated almost all areas on the northern bank of Euphrates.
