An important step has been taken after the liberation of Tabqa town and Euphrates Dam. YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) advance in northern Raqqa and get closer to the city center every day.

SDF forces are advancing carefully in order to protect the civilians. Thousands of civilians have been rescued from ISIS-occupied areas and taken to safe zones during the operation.

SDF fighters resumed their advance this morning and they take down ISIS’ black flags one by one as they search and sweep the recently liberated areas.
