The activists ended the first day of the Long March in front of Bielefeld HBF with a “Jin Jiyan Azadî” seminar in the evening. Today the young activists left from Hamm station.
The second day of the Long March kicked off this morning at 9 from Hamm station.
Kurdish youth movements and internationalist young people organized the march within the scope of the “Freedom for Öcalan, political solution to the Kurdish question” initiative.
On Monday, the activists ended their first day of march by performing a halay at Bielefeld central train station. Then, they went to the Bielefel Democratic Kurdish Community Center to attend a "Jin Jiyan Azadî" seminar.
Before the seminar, the final declaration of the conference titled "Reality of Leadership and the Role of Youth" held on 15 September was read.
Şiyar Zîlan read the Kurdish version of the final declaration, and Elisa Ginzburg read the German version. The declaration underlined that young people would take revenge for every day that Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan spent in prison, and added that Kurdish young people should be clear in their stance against the International Conspiracy.
Artist Hekim Sefkan said that Abdullah Öcalan's paradigm is a solution not only for the Kurdish people but for all of humanity, and saluted the Long March. Before performing the poem he wrote for Jina Amini, Hekim Sefkan told the activists: "The philosophy of Jin Jiyan Azadî is ours. If anyone tries to take it from you, fight."
Then, Artist Sinan sang accompanied by his saz.
There was a video about Abdullah Öcalan's speeches on women's freedom and the PKK.
