Second day of the march for Öcalan in Düsseldorf

The 21st anniversary of the 15 February International Conspiracy against Öcalan is being marked by marches carried out by Kurdish people living in Europe.

In Düsseldorf, the capital of NRW State of Germany, Kurds are protesting the conspiracy against Öcalan with a three-day long march.

The first day of the long march saw the participation of tens of people.

The march promoted the FED-MED NRW and YJK-E NRW, kicked off on Friday morning when scores of people gathered in front of Düsseldorf DGB Haus.

Following a minute silence, FED-MED co-chair Engin Sever addressed the crowd. Sever stated that the international conspiracy, which entered its 21st year, continues today with the genocidel policies against the Kurdish people implemented first of all against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

After the speech, the people marched carrying a banner saying "We condemn the international conspiracy against Öcalan".

The first day of the march ended in front of Düsseldorf HBF. Today the march will begin at Düsseldorf HBF at 10 am.
