Anti-terror police teams raided the Arin Mirxan Youth Centre for art and cultural works in the western province of Aydın late Monday. Seven people were detained in the raid while the reason for the operation was not immediately clear.

The Governor of Aydın had previously served notice against the Youth Centre because of its name.
