Several students detained in Istanbul and Amed
Many students were detained during police raids on houses and dormitories in Istanbul last night. One student was also detained in Amed.
The Turkish police carried out house raids across Istanbul’s districts last night. Student dormitories were also raided and many students were detained during these raids.
Police also carried out house raids in Amed’s Yenişehir district and detained Burhan Atiz, who is a Sociology student at Dicle University.
