Silent action in Giessen against Turkish attacks

Worldwide protests against Turkish genocidal campaign seeking to invade North and East Syria, continue.

The Turkish state's invasion of Northern and Eastern Syria was protested with a 'silent action' in Giessen city of Germany.

The action was held in Berliner Platz and was promoted by the Democratic Kurdish Society Centre.

In the statement read at the event, activists said that the European states were content withwords and declarations and continued to sell their weapons [to Turkey]. Activists called for concrete steps.

Kurds and their friends living in Giessen wore black bands on their mouths and carried a banner saying 'Defend humanity in Rojava'.
