People from Kobanê who started a sit-down protest after being prevented from returning to the canton at the Mürşitpınar border gate have been allowed to cross the border.

Turkish soldiers are preventing people who want to return to Kobanê, where clashes continue. People wanting to cross back into Kobanê were stopped by police and soldiers in front of the Süleyman Şah Park and told that: "today is a holiday, it's Sunday." .

After the sit-down protest had borne fruit, the people walked to the border gate and after police barricades were removed crossed back into Kobanê.
