Recently, Special War Department Member Sergeant H.Ç. confessed many crimes related to the Madýmak Massacre.

Human Rights Organization (ÝHD) Diyarbakýr and Batman Branches’ Presidents also called on the government to find those responsible of the massacre and bring them to court. They said that if ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) does not address the case, people would consider them as partners in this crime.
