A meeting in support to the Kurdish people will take place in Troyes on Wednesday, October 30, starting at 6 pm, at Place de l'Hotel de Ville.

The initiative has been promoted by organizations, associations and unions, Red Sun France, the Movement against racism and friendship between peoples (MRAP), the League of Human Rights, UNSA, the PCF, insubordinate France and Workers' Struggle.

As organisers said this is a first local action to "help the Kurds, who are our friends, our allies, those who defeated Daesh", and denounce the military operation launched by the Turkish President on Syrian Kurdistan which has already caused many dead among civilians.

A poster campaign is also planned.
