Solidarity event in Denderleeuw with victims of earthquake
In Denderleeuw, a solidarity event with the victims of the earthquake was organized by the Kurdish Women's Union.
An event was held in Denderleeuw in solidarity with the victims of the earthquake that hit Kurdistan and caused great destruction in 11 provinces.
Green Party Denderleeuw representative Andy De Peter, party members, Babillionie teacher Emilla Vanden Meersch, volunteer teachers and social workers, and many Denderleeuw residents attended the event.
Heyva Sor and Jineoloji members said that the earthquake with the epicenter in Maraş caused great destruction in 11 provinces.
It was emphasized that tens of thousands of buildings collapsed and tens of thousands of people lost their lives in the earthquake.
Proceeds from the solidarity event will be sent to families damaged by the earthquake through Heyva Sor.
