Turkish Medical Association (TTB) Central Council Chair Eriþ Bilaloðlu called on people to participate Street Assembly to rise the social and economic problems in Turkey. He said; “We do not have election threshold or any kind of anti-democratic rule as the Grand National Assembly of Turkey have. We are not making discrimination between people regarding their religious, languages or national and social origin. We are going to create an equal environment to discuss about our problems and possible solutions on the streets with the mass meetings.”
The Street Assembly was formed by the TTB, the Confederation of Revolutionary Workers Trade Unions (DÝSK), the Confederation of Public Employee Trade Unions (KESK) and Union of Chamber of Turkish Architects and Engineers (TMMOB) in the month of June to gather all the parts that suffer because of social and economic system in Turkey.
