Hunger strikers in French city of Strasbourg have called off their strike on the 52nd day.
The indefinite-irreversible hunger strike of fifteen Kurdish people in French city of Strasbourg has been ended with a press statement.
The strike has been staged since 1 March to demand freedom for Kurdish peoples leader Abdullah Öcalan and a political status for the Kurdish people. The fast of strikers mainly addressed to European Constitutions, CPT and the EU in particular, calling the institutions to intervene in the deadlock of the Kurdish problem and to lead to a peaceful and democratic solution.
