The protest against the appointment of Melih Bulu as rector of Boğaziçi university by a decree issued by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continue.

Every week, since the appointment, academics have been turning their backs in front of the rector building to protest the prevarication. Students this week also joined the action.

The demand for an autonomous university was reiterated today at the South Campus and Bulu's resignation was requested.
