Summaries to lift immunities for 21 MPs including Leyla Güven

Summaries of proceedings demanding the lifting of immunities for 21 MPs including Leyla Guven has been sent to the Parliamentary Presidency.

33 new summaries of proceedings have been sent to the Parliamentary Presidency to lift the parliamentary immunity of 21 MPs.

Hakkari MP Leyla Guven, who continues her hunger strike from her home in Amed, is among the 21 MPs. Guven was in prison when she was elected, went on a hunger strike while still in prison, and she did not have her swearing in ceremony at the parliament so she is unable to attend lawmaking activities under current bylaws.

32 of the 33 summaries are against HDP MPs, while the last one is against CHP MP Saliha Sera Kadigil Sutlu. There are also summaries against HDP Co-chairs Pervin Buldan and Sezai Temelli.
